This card is from that first Perez-Steele/Hall of Fame set which was issued through 2001. Styled after the classic 19th century Allen & Ginter cards, most feature both portrait and full-length images of the depicted member on the front. The reverse displays a rather ornate design, divided back with stamp box, a brief biography, logos of both Perez-Steele and the National Baseball Hall of Fame, and the serial number (of 10,000) imprinted. Each card is really a numbered, limited edition lithograph in postcard (3.5" by 5.5") size.
