Offered here is an unusual 1767 silver 12 skilling coin of the Danish West Indies. The diameter is under, but the weight is right resulting in part of the legend being off the planchet. A nice coin with old silver billon toning. The1767 dated obverse has a sailing ship with date below. The legend around in Danish translates to 12 skilling Denmark AMERICAN COIN. See the scans.
