Description: Two fine original engravings on one full page, published in Gleason's Pictorial, March 25, 1854 relating to gold discoveries in California entitled as follows: "Notion Company's Works, California" - the scene is Barton's Bar - see a copy of this engraving in the Library of Congress website "Ross's Bar, California" - this was on the Yuba River. Good condition with minor tears to the edges and light dampness to corner of one - see scans. Unrelated text to the reverse. Page size 11 x 16 inches.
