Capitol/Army & Navy CivilWar token (Fuld 233/312a; Rarity-1; copper, 19 mm.) has superb eye appealwith a great strike and great color and surfaces. There isoriginal red color on both the obverse and the reverse, along with bluetoning. The token is sharply struck andthe surfaces exhibit vibrant luster. Obverse: United States Capitol building with legend above:“[five-pointed star] UNITED STATES [five-pointed star]” and legend below:“[three five-pointed stars] 1863 [three five-pointed stars]” (Scovill’s CapitolBuilding). Reverse: Oak branch on rightand laurel branch on left, crossed swords below, with legend on three lines:“ARMY | & | NAVY” and beaded border (Scovill’s Army & Navy).
