Description: 1882 O VAM 38B Morgan Silver Dollar. This incredible coin is on the Kimpton 12 VAMs list, the WOW! Morgan VAM list, and terryi2o's Dream VAM List. It has die breaks at obverse first right star and reverse N, clashed obverse G and first t, t, and D, clashed reverse M, doubled 82, and more. The VAM 38B has everything from the VAM 38A, also a Kimpton 12 coin, and adds the die break near the first right star. Obverse - Radial die crack on left side of first right star with slightly displaced field break. Clashed die with multiple clash marks at top of neck, faint arc of left edge of G of God from reverse next to neck, partial incuse of first t of trust between hair locks to right of designer's initial M, partial doubled incuse second t in trust in right hair vee of lower hair edge, partial incuse center bars of D of DOLLAR below I of PLURIBUS, and clash marks at lips and chin, and multiple clashes behind Liberty's cap. In date, first 8 has a small die chip on left between loops and 82 is doubled. Faint die crack from right wheat leaf through top of Phrygian cap into field. Faint die crack from neck to 4th left star. Small dots of metal over Liberty's head from rusted die. Reverse - Diagonal die crack through N of ONE in a late die state version showing breaks at rim and wreath leaf. Clashed die with faint raised designer's initial M from obverse showing above W of We. Clash marks at right wreath, left wreath, above right wing to G of God, and clash marks between eagle's head and left wing. Numerous die cracks, some with die chips, including continuation of the previously mentioned diagonal crack through N of ONE into left wreath, through bow into right wreath, from E of UNITED through right wing into denticles, with a chip at the edge of the first S in STATES, from denticles above second S in STATES through OF into left wing, from denticles above A through MER of AMERICA, and from denticles through AR of DOLLAR into right wreath.
