This work is considered to be one of the pioneers of the 'lost world' genre. CONDITION In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally very smart with fading to the spine, bumping to the tail of the boards and minimal rubbing to the joints and extremities. Light spotting to the endpapers. The wrap is smart with loss to the head and tail of the spine, closed tears, slight creasing and chips to the extremities, and minor marks. Internally generally firmly bound with minimal strain in places. Pages generally bright with occasional spotting.
