Description: 1936 Good Natured Map of Seattle, Washington Shrine Playground. Wonderfully detailed map made for the 1936 Shriners convention in Seattle Washington, which upon further research was the 62nd Imperial Council Session of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America in Seattle (now known as Shriners International). The map is incredibly detailed from Portland up to Vancouver, with an inlet in the top left corner for Alaska. Also shows the various mountain ranges from Mount Hood, Mt Baker, Mt St Helens and Mt Ranier to the Olympic Mountains and Cascade mountains ranges. The map also shows the various activities to be had around the state. Measures 21.5 x 31.5 inches Made by Farwest Lithograph & Printing Co located in Seattle. The map is in great shape for its age with very nice color and vivid caricature's. No pin holes or tape marks. It has been kept out of sunlight and has been folded for years. There is one slight rip in the lower left crease, and 2 minor spots on the bottom left and right along white border. Overall a very fantastic and very rare map. I will ship the map folded using usps priority mail with tracking and insurance.
