Description: We have an old 1939-1948 Cadillac LaSalle transmission, and we found out that first gear is damaged, so we're going to part it out. This is the secondary gear cluster shaft for it. There is minimal wear showing. I took it out myself and it came out without any problems. The o ring will need to be replaced.(see 3rd picture) The transmission tail shaft housing has the part number 1441969 and a date number of 114 on the transmission.
