The Liberty Statue or Freedom Statue is a monument commemorating those who sacrificed their lives for the independence, freedom, and prosperity of Hungary. This miniature sculpture is made of fine solid silver and is marked with Austrian silver hallmark dog head and B letter mark 800/100 purity in my opinion. Most probably the statue was made as special present to important Communist leaders. Mounted on the marble plinth and featuring coat of arms of Hungary 1946-49 in enamel. The statue is in excellent condition with some dings on marble plinth due to age, the silver is excellent.
