Description: These heads are for a 1955 265 V8 and have been reconditioned at some point. I bought the 265 that came out of a Corvette and had some newer heads bolted onto it. These heads were in a box and part of the deal. They look like they have been surfaced and have had a valve job and hardened valve seats installed. There is some light surface rust on the surfaced portion of the head that should come off easily. Take a close look at all of the pictures, there are 24 of them for your viewing pleasure.
