Named Director of Argonne National Lab.: Lemont, IL: Dr. Norman Hilberry, 58, Deputy-Director of the Argonne National Laboratory near Lemont since the resignation of Dr. Walter H. Zinn last June, has been named Director of the Dupage County Atomic Research facility. The appointment was made public by Chancellor Lawrence A. Kimpton of the University of Chicago which operates Argonne Laboratory for the Atomic Energy Commission. Here Dr. Hilberry points to a plaque which states, "this subcritical reactor is constructed by graphite and uranium metal used by Enrico Fermi and Associates in the development and construction of the world's first nuclear reactor."
