Description: Offered here the SAINT PIUS X DAILY MISSAL written by the Rev.Walter van de Putte for use in Catholic Schools. It is the Confraternity Version and includes the MASS in Latin and English. The book includes a variety of helps and illustrations so that school age children can understand and find meaning in the Mass . . . and help adults to do so as well! Published in 1958, this book is hardbound and in good pre-owned condition: Complete and intact, with no missing, loose, torn or dog-eared pages, and with no handwriting or signatures. It measures about 6.5" x 4" and has 1024 pages. It has five different color ribbon page markers. At some time in its history some moisture caused slight wrinkling in some pages which in no way affects the use of the Missal. By the look of the red page edges (see last photo with this listing), my guess--and it's only a guess--is that ti got a bit of rain on it while a student was carrying it to or from school or Sunday Mass. The cover was not affected in any way and is in excellent condition. I found this at a benefit sale at a Catholic parish and purchased it for my collection of Bibles, Prayer Books, and Missals. Now, however, I've passed my 80th year, and it's time to let go of the collection so that others can appreciate books that were used by generations that came before us.
