It’s a highly desirable little package thatought to find a lot of eager buyers.Our test car was a 1962 Monza coupe with the completeSpyder package (actually a Chevrolet Engineering developmentcar). The Spyder package includes the 150-hp turbocharged en-gine, identification emblems, special instrument cluster, 4-speedtransmission, heavy-duty suspension, sintered metallic brakes,and the 3.55-to-l "performance” axle gears. The special in-strument cluster includes a 6000-rpm electric tachometer, a120-mph speedometer with trip odometer (great for rallies),manifold pressure gauge showing both vacuum and pressure,fuel gauge and a unique cylinder head temperature gauge.
