Description: This is a ticket stub from the 1975 World Series Game 3 that has been graded a PSA 1.5. Just got back from PSA, the holder is in pristine condition, no scratches. The Reds defeated the Red Sox 6-5 in 10 innings. The game featured home runs from both Johnny Bench & Carlton Fisk. The game is known for the controversial bunt by Ed Armbrister in the 10th inning. In the bottom of the 10th inning with the scored tied 5-5 Ed Armbrister successfully laid down a sacrifice bunt, and then as he tried to run to first base crossed in front of Boston Red Sox catcher Carlton Fisk, which caused Fisk to make a late and erratic throw to second base to try to force Geronimo. The ball sailed into center field, as a result. Fisk and Reds Sox manager Darrell Johnson both argued that Armbrister interfered with Fisk, but the play stood.
