You can use this deck to play any game for which you would use a standard deck of playing cards. This deck was made by Alief Products Co. The box is dated 1986, but the cards are dated 1985. The "Republican" is a word game played with cards. The deck consists of 52 alphabet cards, plus 2 Jokers. The instructions describe exactly how to play and score the game. Winning words include things like REPLUBLICAN, PATRIOTISM, CAPITALISM, PRODUCTION. A sticker on the deck indicates these cards came from the Republican National Convention of 1984. They were made by R.M. Corporation of Spencer, IN Vintage, used, boxes show plenty of wear, but cards are in much better condition, and are complete, including game instructions, in original boxes.
