Description: Here we have a fantastic refurbished Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 15053 with a purple dial which we can date to 1987 The case size of this piece is approx 34mm not including the crown, the case condition is very good with only light signs of wear, the lugs retain nice strong lines. The dial has been refinished in purple, which is complemented beautifully by the gold. The original dial colour was blue but the paint was heavily damaged so we thought this would like nice. The hands have been replaced so are like new. The crystal is original, under close inspection as you move the watch through the light there are some surface marks, and there is one small mark between 9 and 10 that is always visible. The bracelet is in good condition, with only light signs of wear on the gold centre links, these can be polished on request. As it is, it will accommodate a wrist size of up to 6.5 inches, extra links will be required to accommodate a wrist size any larger. I am more than happy to source links upon request. The movement has just been serviced and is keeping time very accurately.
