Based on the dimensions of the medium/large redwood or west coast version Mac H&S Hadston profile spike popular in the 1960s and 1970s. These were the big bar falling dogs and have massive underbite for wrapping face cuts around old growth timber. Like a kickstand, they also keep your long bar tips off the ground/truck bed. This particular pattern was the most widely used of the Hadston McCulloch spikes and was a 1970s aftermarket logger favorite for coastal softwood cutting from Alaska to NorCal.
