It offers a clear and instant bond. Although fugitive glues form a very strong bond, it produces a removable non-permanent bond that is temporary and is intended to hold two pieces of material together through the duration of folding and gluing operations. Because it cannot be resealed once broken, this glue is designed for one-time use. This glue can be easily released from surfaces months (even years) later without causing damage to either one of the separated substrates. It is mainly used on smooth nonporous surfaces and has a low tack.
