Description: This is a design by Rich McElligott. There’s a video of him tying it at a Kentucky fishing show on YouTube. It’s distributed by Rainy’s Premium Flies as Rich’s Ultimate Worm. I tied these in the same manner as Rich McElligott. They're on a 1/0 Extra Wide Gap offset worm hook. They're weighted slightly to get it 'em down faster. They're tied weedless. The worm slides down when the fish strikes to expose the hook. Then it can be pulled back up in weedless mode. The same principle as the Senko Worm. This fly gives the Fly rod or Tenkara Rod fisherman the ability to use one of the most popular bass Lures. Although I have no experience with it, it’s reportedly also good for trout. You get 4 Black Texas Rigs. This is the one of the top color Senko on anybody's list. They don't have a cute nickname for Black but it's a dynamite color for murky water. I used a different color of thread for each worm. This gives you a choice of Black, Red, Chartreuse, or White head. I may use this set to see if the worm head or tail color makes a difference.
