Description: ... D-1 I am thinning out my flower beds and need homes for some nice specialty varieties of daffodils. Also called narcissus or jonquils. This listing is for 55 daffodil bulbs of 2 varieties - one early, one late! : 21 ICE FOLLIES ~ This batch of ICE FOLLIES is extra-frilly. It's a lovely ruffled variety, with white petals and light yellow frilly trumpets that fade to white as the flowers age. One of the earliest bloomers, and a prolific multiplier. They look really beautiful at dusk when they seem to glow white. 34 HJL type - This very pretty and vibrant variety blooms late, with large white or ivory-white petals and orange-yellow trumpets. Very cheerful colors and large flowers. It usually blooms at the same time as Redbud Trees & Virginia Bluebells. The bulb photo(s) show the actual bulbs you will receive. I have carefully washed and dried the bulbs. The sizes of bulbs vary from large ones, which should bloom next year, to smaller ones that will not bloom for one or two years. If you plant them in a sunny location and let the foliage die back naturally each spring, they will grow bigger each year and will eventually reproduce as well. If you have patience and enjoy the anticipation of gardening, this is a good buy for you. One advantage to smaller bulbs is that they are easier to plant - you don't have to plant them as deep (they will adjust themselves as they grow older). Note: The flower photos are my own photos of my actual plants; the pictures are not doctored or enhanced stock photos. . . so you see what the varieties will really look like when they bloom for you. >> >> See my other daffodil listings -- click here >> >> SHIPPING NOTES: I ship USPS. These daffodils are perennials and in time will multiply for you. And they occasionally will set seed too. They are deer and rodent resistant as well. The bulbs can be planted now or stored somewhere at room temperature & dry, and then planted sometime before winter so they can get acclimated and thrive next spring. Don't plant daffodils in soggy soils. Planting Depth: ~3x height of bulb. They get between 12"-16" tall. ------------------------------------------- >> >> See all my other daffodil listings -- click here >> >> . ..
