60s Vintage Sandwich Isles 38L Long Mens Hawaiian Tapa Print Blazer Jacket Look!

Description: Hello and welcome to my auction! Here we have rare and wonderful 1960’s Tapa print sports jacket made by Sandwich Isles.It is 100% medium weight cotton and was made in Hong Kong RN 35566.The tapa style print is colored black, brown and off whites with bold interlacing patterns.Sandwich Isles is famous for these wild print fabrics, some that feature stylish and bright colored patterns.Highly sought after.Jacket features two interior pockets, one on the left and one on the right.The one on the right has the manufactured label and size.The left side had a retailers label but it fell off long ago and has some residual glue on the satin lining. Obviously, not seen when worn.It has one left chest pocket and two hip pockets that have 2” flaps.One vent on the bottom center back of the jacket.Shoulders are only slightly padded, not heavily, and both in great condition.Jacket is fully lined in brown satin on the left and right panels but only partially lined on the center shoulder area. Typical because these jackets were worn in warm tropical locales around the world.Two faux silver bone plastic button front closure and two smaller buttons on the end of each cuff.Fabric is strong and looks not to have been much - in great shape with no stains, tears, holes or damage of any kind. Except for the missing interior retailer label, in excellent condition.
