African Beaded Tribal Necklace Set,Venetian Trade Beads & Bauxite, Earth Tone

Description: 24in African Beaded Tribal Necklace and Bracelet. Bracelet is a size 8, can be sized. This piece has beautiful rusty colored earth tones in several shades. The focal bead is a beautiful Venetian Milifiori Trade Bead. The colors are brick red, yellow, white, a little blue. The focal in the bracelet is the same kind of bead and pattern of color. On either side of the focal are Batik bone beads. This type of beautiful brown bone bead runs to the top of the necklace. Bone beads are cow bone or species Bos Taurus. I had just enough of the 1920s brick red little Venetian beads to complete this piece! They are a really nice matt finish striped brick red bead. There are 4 Krobo beads, round disc like beads. My favorite of this earthy piece is the Bauxite beads. Bauxite has been used in African jewelry for generations. Until recently, it was hand drilled into beads. They have improved the way they make bauxite beads, but it still looks like a lot of work. I dont know what it is about the Bauxite, but it just adds this uniqueness to a piece. Also, it has gotten very expensive but still worth it. I think i might have a necklace listed with the hand drilled Bauxite. This piece is strung on heavy nylon coated stainless steel wire and has stainless steel lobster clasp and components. Thank you for making my one of a kind art possible.
