Description: American Girl Kirsten Larson Doll Vintage White Body Pleasant Company Copyright Original School Dress in Division Pattern “Dishwater” Blonde Hair- like a cloud Artist Marking Flat Strings Detailed Photos ALL PHOTOS ARE OF ACTUAL DOLL **This doll will be packaged double boxed, meaning she will be placed into one box, and then that box will be placed into a second box for maximum safekeeping** -This was somebody’s American girl doll that they loved and played with and carried around with them, this was not left on a shelf to be perfectly preserved. -I washed her face hands and feet, but I did not wash her cloth body. I did not brush her hair, or attempt to wash the inside of her mouth or her eyes. I am not a professional doll restorer and did not want to risk damaging the doll -The earlier American girl dolls were unbleached muslin bodies. You can tell that this is an original white body doll due to the fact that the strings which are also white, match the color of the body -This looks like second series, late 80s or early 90s due to the fact that the cup colors are not salmon colored but instead match the color of the arms and legs - Hair is soft cloud of ash blonde surrounding her head -Original font pleasant company copyright on the back of her head, she has the “mystery signature” or artist marking behind her ear **Her face, arms, and legs are not a hard plastic but are squishable and are a bit more full and chubby** -She is wearing her school dress and comes with the dress, handkerchief, and shoes. The school dress only was manufactured in China starting in 1989 and was never manufactured in western Europe. This is the “division pattern” retired in the early 90’s -Her eyelashes are a very dark brown and her brows look to be molded on but I am not an expert and have done a close-up photo so you can make your own determination - There is a whisper of stuffing near her neck, I could have tried to loosen the strings and tighten them again but, again, I did not want to change the integrity of the doll ******Flaws- some light scratches to the glass eyes, her cloth body is dirty in some places, one of her eyes is slower to open and close than the other when raising and lowering the doll, and she is missing her original undergarments**** The items I sell are between 40-120 years old. They will have signs of wear. Please carefully examine photos. ************ All items sold are vintage finds sourced from estate sales and thrift stores in the Hollywood area of Southern California.
