American Hunter, Stag 8" Hunting Knife Impressive performance on a budget!

Description: American Hunter, Stag 8" Hunting Knife: The lanyard hole is a slot, and there's a leather lanyard on the bottom of the sheath. You could take that and tie onto the knife, and maybe keep a guy from dropping it from a deer stand. The sheath has a dangler style ring, so it flexes out of the way when sitting down. it rides low, just a little below the top of the belt, so it's not going to be digging into your side when you carry. The sheath is left handed for traditional grip, but on the right hand, it's a blade forward, modern fighter draw. The imitation stag is easy to clean, grippy, even when wet. I'd rather take this one out and get it messy, than to take my old antique Western leather ring handle, and have it stained up. The blade is stainless steel, has a nice choil for a sharpening point, good top jimping, and the steel makes a nice finger guard. nice and thick piece of steel. Really solid grip. This one could be honed to razor sharp, and it should hold an edge through mid-sized game processing.
