Description: This is a one of a kind piece, featured is a Spintriae coin, a brothel coin. Two batches of these have been found in Italy dating around 40BCE all depicting erotic acts. Nobody quite knows what they were used for though they are most likely related to some use in the public baths or brothels. This coin is a well made replica of one of those coins. It has been inlaid on a faux gold metal bezal and strung on a 18k gold plated chain with the end to end length of 46cm and closes with a lobster clasp. The front depicts a couple in an amorous position. I will be posting this in an organza bag (not a presentation box ) in order to send as a large letter and save you money on postage.
