Description: What a lovely and incredibly made, circa 1910’s, all silk, shimmering soutache embroidered dress from a Jackson, California estate. The color is a mauve to dusty rose color. It is absolutely stunning! The beautiful dress features an amazing design around the bodice which cascades down the entire front. It is in overall good condition considering it’s age. The interior lining of the bodice is quite tattered, however at first glance, the outer silk appears wearable. There are some stains here and there along with some tears as well. There are tears under both arms. All of the metal hooks seem to be present. Please view all pictures for condition. It has been stored away for decades in a cedar chest. Sold As Is. Perfect for a museum collection. Measurements:shoulders approx 16”Bust approx 31”Waist: 25”length: 60”Sleeve opening: 10.5”What a sumptuous, 100+ year old dress to add to your collection / museum.
