Description: Vintage Franz Hermle Grandfather Wall Clock Made In Germany 1973 An absolutely STUNNING genuine 'Franz Hermle' vintage Grandfather wall clock that was made with superior craftsmanship in Germany, on October 23, 1973. It's an extremely rare peice of history and a must own item for vintage clock enthusiasts and avid collectors. These older clocks can value at over $500. This clock has a lovely and very unique pendulum of a horse rider as its bob, with two pear shaped weights with the gold colored lacquer on them. It's really just an amazing piece and most likely took years to create. The attention to all the tiny details is mind blowing. Dimensions Approximately 31cm. Movement No. 261-080A Condition & Details The clock is in GREAT pre-owned condition, especially considering age and its 40 years of service. Unfortunately, one day the clock stopped working and I was never able to get it going again. I'm not exactly knowledgeable with these kinds of things, so for all I know it may be an easy fix. Please note that the clock is quite old and it does show some minor, but noticeable signs of wear, including: scuff and surface scratches on the wood finish, as well as very small chips in the wood located at the very peak of the clock. Also, there is a small amount of finish loss to the lacquer located exactly near the bottom.
