Description: Antique 19th C FIXED Cracked GLOBE Small WHALE OIL LANTERN No FONT/BURNER In as-is condition with cracked globe and missing font/burner. The remaining lantern is actually in very good condition with some faint traces of the original black paint remaining. Stands only 15.75" in total height including the elevated hanging/carrying ring loop (or approximately 11" from the base to the top cone). The base opening that accepts the font measures approximately 3 7/8" in diameter. This is a nice uncommon lantern for restoration or parts.
