Description: Antique ADAMS & CO EAPG GLASS Creamer 'CRYSTAL WEDDING' W RUBY RED STAIN c1919 Size approx. 5" high x 5.25" long [spout to handle]. Square top opening is about 3" x 3". Inset square base 2.75" x 2.75"Holds approx. 13 ounces, a large creamer size or a smaller milk jug size- wonderful for display or use with milk, maple syrup, etcThis also would make a charming flower vaseScalloped top edge with a fantastic elongated pressed oval design at lower half with a vertical ribbed foot. There is also a decorative scallop design pressed into the glass around the spout areaThe "Crystal Wedding" pattern dates from 1919 and is quite rare to find with Ruby Red Stain, as the company called it. The creamer of this piece is almost impossible to find, very rare. This creamer also glows a very faint GREEN color under UV light, which happens with some EAPG glass with Green Manganese in the glass formula. Beautiful shape, thick sturdy base is weighty & handle is an easy to grip shapeVery Nicely Formed/Shaped Spout Excellent vintage condition, beautiful! No nicks chips or cracks. Some very faint rub marks to the ruby stain mainly on the edges of corners, extremely hard to notice, no major areas rubbed away- see last pics. Ruby red flashing is deeply jewel toned and unfaded. Hand blown, pressed glass has a few stray bubbles which are normal for the time period of production. Would also look great on a windowsill where it can glow with light passing through the red color.
