Description: For sale is this antique Atha 4lb. hand drilling hammer, hand sledge hammer, weighing 4lbs. 7.6 oz. overall, with handle. Signed with the famous "A" within the horseshoe logo, "750", and with a "4" on the top, and "Made In U.SA,." on the bottom, the head measures 6-1/8" long, with 1-7/16" octagonal faces, with a sound, but loose, 14-5/8" wooden handle. It is in excellent overall condition, showing normal use and wear, with a series of heavy notches from a previous owner, on the top side edges, as pictured. Atha stopped manufacturing under this name in 1914, making this hammer well over 100 years old.
