Description: This beautiful antique urn/vase is a perfect addition to any American art pottery collection. Crafted by Brush McCoy, this original, handmade vase features a stunning green and black drip glazed finish. Measuring 8 inches in height and 5 inches in width, it has a bottom of 3.25 inches across, 3" opening and a weight of 2 lbs. 3.5 ounces. The Arts & Crafts mission style vase is a true vintage treasure from the early 20th century, specifically 1911-1925. The vase is a unique cucumber green color w/ a beautiful patterned drip design, typical of the Onyx Line, making it a standout piece of art pottery. There are (4) areas with firing marks, which I do not consider flaws and are typical of the early firing process. However, these areas are highlighted in the last photos. The rim is a little rough due to some glaze flaking, but considering the age of approximately 100 years, are again typical. Please, see the photos, which are part of the description.
