Description: The toy is made of cardboard, with a painted plaster overlay. A felt bow is glued to the neck. There is a noisemaking mechanism inside of the body made of wood, metal, and string. The toy is damaged, the bottom portion has broken off. The remaining portion has some wear from age - plaster has spots of cracking and chipping, the paint on the face has wear, and the felt bow is faded. Please see photos for details. The toy is an antique but I am not sure of the exact age - most likely c1880s-1920s.
