Description: This listing is for a fantastic antique Chicago Watchman’s Clock Co. clock in working order with original key and original metal key tag. (not sure exactly what the tag is called) The clock is circa early 1900s. This is the first one of these clocks I have ever come across that not only includes the original Chicago Watchman’s Clock Co. key but also the original metal key tag. The clock was manufactured with a high-end Waltham 8-day movement. I wound the clock twice after purchase, and both times it kept good time, off about 30 seconds or so a day. So, after 2-3 days I would move it back a minute or two. Otherwise, it kept good time. The key opens the latch to get to the stem, which pushes down to wind the clock and lifts up to set time. Once the latch is unlocked, the back of the clock can also be opened. The clock faces measures approximately 4-3/4” across, and the clock is 2-1/8” deep. This is just a cool, antique time piece. Thank you. I am happy to answer questions. I take pride in my packaging and will make sure this clock is packaged well for safe delivery. SHIPPING & PACKAGING IS A FLAT $14.00 IN THE CONTINENTAL USA – shipping and packaging material costs keep going up, sorry. You are also welcome to pick up the clock from my home in far northeast Michigan.
