Description: Antique Regency Flame Mahogany Tea Caddy With Mixing Bowl. The caddy is a beautiful warm mahogany with boxwood stringing to the edges and has a brass carrying handle to the top. Inside the caddy, the inside lid and space for the mixing bowl has a red lining and there are two removable tea boxes (one for black and one for green tea) with hinged lids and tin coloured lining. The ornate glass mixing bowl fits snugly into its compartment however I don’t think it’s original. That said , it has no chips or cracks and fits the void very well. The veneer is in good condition but there is a dink to the top of the box as pictured. The underside of the box has the original green lining (slightly moth eaten). Dimensions 30 x 15 x 15.5cm
