Description: Antique French Chamonix Alpine Hiking Stick , Solid and straight. Goat hoof/handle. Measurements in photos. Early 1900’s. Been in our family for 80+ years as it came from my grandmother, who was European and a nurse in London during the WWII bombings. She passed away 45 years ago at age 87. I can’t find this exact cane on the net, and the history of the maker is vague. The hoof is real. You can tell by the worn areas. That leads me to believe that the horn is a real horn.
