Description: This carved panel is from France and dates to the late 1800’s. It was once a panel on a French cabinet. It is made from solid walnut and finished to a warm dark color. The carvings are very well done. Overall it is in fair condition with only minor nicks and scratches. Note that one of the panels has several woodworm holes in the corner and the head of the soldier appears to have been replaced (see photos). Dimensions: 19.75" wide, 11.5" tall and 1.75" deep.
