Opposite him on the other side is his wife Salacia goddess of the salted seas, playing a harp, also in a chariot. Winged cherubic putti are carved throughout. Has its original sterling silver band (although it’s loose and has a repair) these were carved by sailors to be used as drinking vessels and were worn on belts or around the neck. 5.75” by 3.5” by 1.75” this piece came out of a New England maritime folk art collection. The detail is astounding. It’s a museum quality piece of folk art. Please email any questions prior to bidding. Photos are part of the description so please review carefully
