Antique Greek Hammered LG Copper Planter Pedestal Base Etched Warrior 9"H

Description: This antique Greek hammered copper planter on a pedestal base features intricate details of an ancient warrior being pulled in a wheeled cart by two panther-like large cats or Greek dogs. The craftsmanship is superb, and the copper material provides excellent durability. It is definitely more than 100+ years old. The hammered copper is most-evident on the front side with the Ancient Greek warrior. The detailing on the hammered out scene can be seen inside the vessel. There are two sturdy, metal handles on each side that have been sauntered onto the planter. The handles do not move, and they are in great condition. The back side of this piece is less-visibly hammered, and the texture is more like small bumps on the copper. You can truly see the craftsmanship on the inside where the hand-etching and hammering was applied. This has a round, pedestal base. This is in very good antique condition, the only issue being a small dent on the bottom inside edge (inside the base, not seen - see last picture) , and there is some gorgeous patina on this piece. It definitely adds to the character and age of this stunning vessel or planter! Measures 9" H x 11.25" diameter with the secured handles. Just beautiful! The planter stands at 9 inches tall and is sure to be a great addition to any metalware collection. The copper material adds a touch of elegance to any home decor.
