Description: Offered is the antique law book "Reports of Cases Decided in the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia", published in Atlanta by the Harrison Co. This is Volume 177 in the continuing series of all cases since the court started in the 1700s; this volume contains cases from the March and October terms in 1933 and has a 1934 copyright date. The thick book is approx. 8 7/8" x 6 3/8" and contains 972 pages, not including the introductory Roman-numeraled pages. It is in good to very good condition. The brown cloth cover has almost no wear, the gold words and lines on the spine still shiny. There is some light soiling. There is no cracking inside either the front or back cover. The white endpapers have yellowed and are lightly soiled. I see no missing or torn pages and all of the pages are well-attached to the binding. They have browned slightly and there is occasional light foxing. I see no writing in the book except for the previous owner's name inside the front cover, Jud P. Wilhoit. (Wilhoit was a lawyer and member of the Georgia state government, serving as chairman of several commissions.) I have a lot of experience with vintage and antique books but am not an expert so please let me know if my description is missing information and you have additional questions.
