Lower part of ceiling canopy has a gray tone finish.White milk glass pleated shade has a hand painted floral garland with tiny flowers in rusty brown, green & yellow. There is a peachy brown paint border at top of shade and around the lower edgeAs assembled, the total length is 21" - could be shortened to 17" by removing chain. Shade is 5 1/2 long from fitter edge to lower edge - 7 1/8" diameter at lower edgeThere are a few chips at the fitter edge which are concealed within the shade holder Shade holder has a working switch turn tab that is marked GECharming light fixture that would be a great cottage accent
