Description: This scrapbook is embossed with the name of its owner Homerita Fritch who collected programs of theater and music performances in San Francisco between the years 1908 - 1912. She attended the theaters and halls of that era including the Cort, Savoy, Capitol, Orpheum and Alcazar. This scrapbook has approximately 32 double-sided pages, for a total of about 64 program clippings. There are about 20 empty pages at the back of the book. There is also a small collection of loose clippings. The scrapbook was stored carefully and is in excellent condition. It measures approximately 11" by 7". The cover is made of leather tied with cord. It is a journey through San Francisco's theatrical and cultural history at the turn of the last century.
