Description: This antique solid oak barley twist gate leg drop leaf table features an oval top measuring 36" x 24" and a small center drawer for added functionality. This style of table was very popular in England in the early 1900, most likely this table was brought to the U.S. by its first owner.The appeal was that the table could be used for part of the day, then folded and put out of the way. When both leaves are down, the table becomes a compact 12" wide, making it ideal for smaller living spaces.The top has been lightly sanded and re-stained to match the legs. While slight imperfections from age are present, including small gaps where the three top pieces meet, the table remains fully functional.It has been packed very securely and will be sent fully insured by UPS Ground.
