Circa 1810, this image shows another sketch low right of the same family in the row boat while verso is a beautiful landscape sketch with a cottage. The sheet measures 6.5 x 9.5 inches with full margins while the painting with above transcription measures 2.75 x 5 inches. The condition of this turn-of-the-century painting shows light handling.
