Description: An original large diorama of a clipper ship or yacht named the “Fairy Queen”, mid 19th century. The frame is dovetailed wood and has solid wood back boards and moulding. The ship and sails are carved wood with added rope rigging along with wooden flags, wooden ocean, etc. Overall it is in good condition for age with patina/soiling to surface, scattered nicks and bumps, shrinkage to back boards, scattered in-painting and small areas of paint loss, small losses/missing pieces to ship/rigging and a few flags/sails, etc. Please see all 24 photos for condition.
