A family owned business, Nebraska Truck Center was started in 1969 with the dream of three men L. Kent Coen, Lloyd Brown, and their late partner Floyd Hough to start a franchised heavy-duty truck dealership in central Nebraska. Beginning with a small office area and 6 bays for trucks along East Highway 30 in Grand Island, Nebraska; over the years the dealership has grown, adding a location in North Platte in 1972 and a collision center and salvage yard in Hastings in 1992. In 2001 the Grand Island location was relocated to be within minutes of Interstate 80.
