Axxess GMOS-04 radio interface /harness Sierra Silverado Tahoe Yukon Bose tested

Description: These need polishing due to surface scratches. The long roof pieces both have a few small dings. Metra Axxess GMOS-04 aftermarket radio interface for factory GM Bose amplified sound systems. 2003-2006 Avalanche, Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Sierra, Yukon, Avalanche USED and tested These adapt aftermarket head units to 2003-2006 GMT800 trucks/ SUVs with the factory installed Bose amplified audio system. They also fit many other vehicles as shown in application pic. These use standard speaker line inputs from the head unit (purple/ purple with stripe, green, green with stripe, etc.). If you only have preamp RCA jacks coming from your head unit, these will not work. These are used store returns and shelf pulls from B_B_, and most have been previously installed. I have tested every one of these modules in my 2005 GMC 2500HD (aftermarket Kenwood head unit) which has a factory Bose amplified system with factory subwoofer. The chimes, Bose amp and radio work and the volume levels adjust as they should. I do not have an active OnStar subscription, so I could not test that portion of the interface. The harnesses may have crimp connectors still attached or wires taped from prior installation, but they are intact. The instruction sheets are missing from most of these, but they can be downloaded from Metra's website. Two things that the instructions are not very clear on: 1. You must have the vehicle running to set the audio gain, not off with the key in run or accessory. 2. To adjust the chime volume when directed, carefully and gently turn the potentiometer counter-clockwise to it's stop, and wait 5-7 seconds. The chime volume will drop to it's lowest setting, and you can adjust it from there. The GMOS-04 does NOT include the ASWC-1 steering wheel control module interface, but DOES plug into the ASWC-1. It can be used without the ASWC-1, you just won't have steering wheel audio controls. I do not have any of the ASWC-1 steering wheel control modules.
