Description: Reproduction WW 2 US Army shoulder patch for the Army Air Force USAAF 9th engineer command advance. This unit constructed airfields under the 9th air force. Activated march 1944 in England, and was used mainly in France after the Normandy invasion. It was worn with a red airborne tab with white lettering by the 876th. 877th and 879th airborne engineer battalions. Full machine embroidered with cut edge.
