Description: Bachmann Spectrum HO 2-8-0 Consolidation Nickel Plate Road NKP #493 DCC. NEW. This locomotive was sent to me by Bachmann as a replacement for a 2-8-0 I sent back for repair. While this locomotive is new and has not been run (other than track tested) it is possible a Bachmann kit bash occurred as the number on the smoke box on the front is 2005. Bachmann told me to just cover the number with a magic marker, but I thought I would let a buyer do that if they wished. I do not want to hide anything. Unit was track tested and runs great.
