The tent (and underlying footprint) fits a standard crib mattress size 28" x 53" (71 X 135 cm) and up to 6" (16cm) thick. The 4 legs of the tent tie into the corners of the mat that is placed underneath your mattress. There are fabric ties at the top to hold the poles together for extra stability. --------------------------------------- What is it made from? This tent is made from cotton canvas and wood dowels. The entire tent will be made in the same fabric. Poles are made from sturdy wood dowels with plastic connectors. Poles are completely enclosed in the fabric pole sleeve. Wood used is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. This means the wood is harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.
