All volumes are in Very Good condition in Very Good dustjackets, three are protected by brodart though, sadly, volumes III & IV, which are in the best condition, are remaindered. Volume I has spotting on back cover and spine and minor foxing inside, and spotting on side page ends. Inlaid are articles from The Times Literary Supplement. The dustjacket is chewed a bit and the spine is stained. Volume II is Near fine but for small stains to each cover and damage to the last page. The DJ is a bit chewed and there is a small stain inside at the bottom. Volume III is Near Fine but for that remainder mark and minor bumping to the bottom of the spine. The dustjacket is also in Near fine condition. Volume IV is Near Fine except for the remainder mark and minor spotting to top page ends. The dustjacket is Very Good. It has sticker residue on the back and spotting inside.
